Good Morning Coffee Lovers,
While our Brown and Jenkins' master roasting is working on a batch of Jinglebell Java , I'm sipping on a mug of Mogul Mocha and reminiscing on the great local food event we held last week.
Edible Vermont Food Exchange
Our first Edible Vermont Food Exchange on the 4th was just plain fun. Great hor d'oeuvres were served by Cindy McKinstrie of The Busy Chef. Wonderful music was provided by Elena Nugent on the keyboard who kept the mood upbeat with old favorites and just enough great holiday music.
People brought amazing things to swap and left with arms full of their neighbor's great, edible, Vermont-inspired creations. There were familiar faces and lots of new ones. The new spirit-inspired coffees were a big hit and everyone was in a great mood, bad economy be banished!
Thank you all for coming and making this first event a success. Remember, this is just the first in the series of local food events that we will host here at the roastery. I'll post details of the next event very soon.
Holiday Coffee Gifts
Don’t forget your holiday hostess gifts. The Eggnog Blizzard coffee is a one of a kind holiday coffee. Or send a Brown and Jenkins e-gift card to those far away loved ones!
Sandy Riggen
