Edible Vermont Food Exchange at Brown and Jenkins

Good Morning Coffee Lovers,

What do Vermonters do in our community as the weather turns colder? We embrace it and go snow shoeing, skiing, sledding, crank up our wood stoves and invite friends over to share a Bourbon Pecan Torte coffee, or a great meal. Speaking of food, this Sunday is the first in a series of a local food exchange event where you can come on out, meet your neighbors, and sample some great Vermont inspired fare.

  • What: Edible Vermont Food Exchange
  • When: Sunday, December 4, 2-5pm
  • Where: Brown & Jenkins Coffee Roasters, located at the corners of Route 104 and Route 15 in Cambridge. (Up on the hill across the street from Boyden Valley Winery and Farm.)

There are some amazing food products coming out of Vermont, also some great home cooks. So bring your homemade canned pickles, jams, pies, cookies, applesauce, cakes and more. Then taste what your neighbors are cooking up.

Plus:
  • Coffees of the World Tasting coffee tasting
  • Music provided Elena Nugent with Christmas and original songs
Come on out this Sunday and welcome the holiday spirit of Vermont with your old and new friends! Call the roastery for more information at 862-2395.

Until our next cup,
Sandy Riggen
